Will this get me stars or prices in Google?
It makes a page eligible, but it can't promise anything. Search engines decide when to show rich results such as star ratings, prices or event dates, and valid code doesn't guarantee a richer listing or a higher ranking.
What does it do for AI answers?
It states facts plainly: what the page is, what it costs, when it starts. Search engines use that to understand the page, and AI answers built on search draw on that understanding. It doesn't replace clear text on the page.
What am I allowed to mark up?
Only what visitors can see on the page. Ratings must come from real reviews shown there, and prices must match what you charge. Google stopped showing how-to rich results in 2023, though the markup is still valid.
