Good to know

What makes a headline work?

It says exactly what the reader will get and why it matters, in as few words as that takes. Being specific beats being clever: “7 ways to stop a leaking tap” says more than “The plumbing secret”.

Is my headline the same as my title tag?

Not necessarily. The headline greets readers on the page. The title tag is what search results and AI tools show, so it needs the keyword early and should fit in about 60 characters.

Does Google use this score?

No. It's a rule of thumb for clarity and click appeal, and a lower score isn't a ranking problem. If the page doesn't deliver what the headline promises, readers leave, and that matters far more.
