Why do rates move on their own?
Even if nothing about your business or the AI tools changed, two months of answers would rarely give the same rate. The test asks how surprising the difference would be if the true rate had stayed put.
How do I read the p-value?
A p-value of 0.03 means a gap this large would turn up about 3 times in 100 by chance alone. Below 0.05 we call it unlikely to be chance. Above that, the honest reading is “no evidence of a change yet”, not “no change”.
Why must a change be at least 5 points?
With thousands of answers, even a 1-point wobble can pass a statistical test. A change that small rarely matters to a business, so we also ask for at least 5 points before calling it a change.
